¹⁹ and ^(A)give to my son Solomon a whole heart to keep Your commandments, Your testimonies and Your statutes, and to do them all, and ^(B)to build the ^[a]temple, for which I have made preparation.”

²⁰ Then David said to all the assembly, “Now bless Yahweh your God.” And ^(C)all the assembly blessed Yahweh, the God of their fathers, and ^(D)bowed low and prostrated themselves to Yahweh and to the king.

Sacrifices to Yahweh

²¹ And on the next day ^(E)they ^[b]made sacrifices to Yahweh and offered burnt offerings to Yahweh, 1,000 bulls, 1,000 rams, and 1,000 lambs, with their drink offerings and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.
